Brand Designer
Sydney, Australia

At Qwilr, we're doing something new...
We're using the powers of the web to create documents: interactive, design-perfect pages, that anyone can create.
They come with analytics, payment, e-sign, easy integration into your CRM, and all the other functionality you wish your old PDF documents had.
We have made a beautiful product that solves a real market need, and that in turn has made us a strong business with a multi-million dollar ARR, consistent growth and incredibly low churn.
It's now time for us to scale this growth and we want you to come and be part of it.
About the Role
As the first full-time Brand Designer for Qwilr, you will be a key voice in brand decisions, voice and evolving our visual language to develop marketing programs that drive demand at scale.
You will collaborate with our Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams to deliver brand messaging and campaigns with partners that reach our target of sales and marketing team leaders.
What You'll Do
- Be a key part of the creative ideation team and produce all creative brand capital, such as ads, landing pages, email campaigns, and other brand collateral
- Define and create a visual marketing language as an extension of the brand (illustrations, icons, colors, typography, animations, etc.)
- Act as the key brand specialist for our growing marketing team, driving initiatives that re-imagines our brand and raise awareness of Qwilr
- You will champion our brand and marketing visual language, taking us from being "safe" to being an instantly recognisable brand and leader in our field
- Educate others on design thinking, brand experience, and design-driven storytelling.
- Be an advocate for consistent and cohesive design throughout the company.
- Own all content and collateral needed for partner marketing, including profile pages on partner platforms, co-selling materials, FAQs
- Design and develop Qwilrs brand guidelines and standards
Why Should You Apply?
Design is central to Qwilr, as a brand, a product and a company. Our big vision is to “liberate the power of the web” from complexity and intimidation. Packaging up all the amazing things the web can do, in a way that ANYONE can do it, is a monumental design challenge - both as a product and as a brand story to tell. That’s why design has always been in the DNA of the business, right from the top, with our CEO and founder coming from a design & engineering background himself (https://dylanbaskind.com).
At ~65 people, we’re small enough that you can still have a huge impact on the brand and marketing language and the creative culture as a whole, but we’re also big enough to have the resources to execute on big ideas, with real financial stability for the long term (i.e. we’ve got years of runway, backed by one of Australia's top VC funds and we make millions of dollars in recurring revenue with years of data to prove its durability).
This isn't some corporate paint-job. Qwilr's vision "to liberate the power of the web" and turn documents into webpages, is a transformative and new idea in the world. The brand we want to build needs to represent that brave, rebellious and transformative spirit.
